No. While certain elements are inspired by D&D, Tapestry TTRGP is a different engine, different pacing; familiar fantasy vide if you want it.

No. While you will need to have on hand at least a d6, you shouldnt have to purchase anything extra to play Tapestry TTRPG games outside of the core books; Tapestry is all Theatre of mind.
